Frequently Asked Questions

What is Shea?

Shea, is actually an oil that is extracted from the nut of the Shea tree (also known as Karite). It is commonly called butter because some people with nut or latex allergies can be sensitive to it. So calling it butter help notify consumers that it has nut-like properties, much like Almond or Peanut Butter.
